Are you losing patience or learning to trust God’s timing?
Leighton gets honest about the thing nobody wants to sit with — waiting on God. This episode digs into why we fill silence with excuses, convince ourselves nothing is happening, and forget that God has been moving the whole time. Using Abraham as the anchor, Leighton unpacks the difference between losing patience and actually learning to trust God's timing. If you're in a season where it feels like your prayers are hitting a ceiling, this one's for you.
Leighton Seys: get so impatient we make up so many excuses when it comes to you know wanting certain things to happen and just waiting for something to occur or waiting to when we think that god is actually going to do something when when in fact god has been working the entire time We just get to that point of where we just think that, you know, that nothing is happening whatsoever and it's never going to happen. And sometimes, you know, we want certain things to happen and God has different plans for it. And sometimes it's a matter of just when it's going to happen. And so, you know, we don't we always tend to forget, like with Abraham, you know, how patient, you know, that God sometimes wants us to be, you know, whether it's a short period of time or an extensive period of time. And, you know, we just and we just we're we're just so spoiled.
