EPISODE

What if the most authentic expressions of church aren’t happening in buildings but in digital avatars? What if sacred conversations are unfolding in places most pastors never go? Welcome to VRChat.

Jeff Reed sits down with the Holy Aces — a Christian virtual reality flight demonstration team operating inside VRChat — led by Dark Void, a 15-year-old who found Christ on an operating table and turned that encounter into an 18-person ministry. Alongside co-owner Zuko, avatar developer Hoku, C-130 structural engineer Aerospace Bricks, and musician Journey Rocker, the team performs formation air shows for VRChat churches. You'll walk away convinced that the wildest, most unexpected ideas — centered on Christ — can become real kingdom work in the darkest digital spaces.

Jeff Reed: All right, hey, welcome to the Church Digital Podcast. We are doing a late night stream here with the podcast. Talking episode 350. We're hanging out. The music stopped on me for some reason. I hit my magic button and everything went quiet. That's really weird. But hey, we'll get it back here in a second. But we've got episode 350 doing a special recording here. After hours, so to speak, it's a little past my bedtime. I actually would be in pajamas right now, true confession. But I'm on camera, and I am wearing still pants, not pajama bottoms. Just to make it clear, yes, I wear jammy bottoms when I sleep at night. uh but hey today we are doing um a deep dive we're doing an interview i have been wanting to have this conversation uh for months every time i talk with these guys i i just get more and more surprised with what they're doing what's going on uh some of their their unique approaches to ministry in virtual reality in the metaverse specifically in in vr chat but before we get into the the holy aces quick reminder hey it's got some big things happening right now with the church digital uh we have our equipping digital missionaries course edm uh is is kicking off again we've got maybe one beta more maybe two more before we finally get this thing finalized but we are offering a five a week course uh free of course equipping digital missionaries if you're interested in being a digital missionary you're interested in in what we're doing here at the church digital where to get plugged in or how we tcd can help your ministry uh in digital and virtual space check out the church.digital slash edm we offer uh these cohorts periodically and uh we've got our next our i this may be our fourth or fifth iteration um with it you know gmail was in beta for like nine years and so edm i mean we're gonna call it at a year like we're almost done but there's a couple more things where we're adding and tweaking on it so check out the church.digital slash edm uh we're going to be offering the cohort going to get it started towards the end of the the month here august the end of august and so if you're interested in signing up go and check out the church.digital slash edm more information on that as well oh by the way We're doing a small thing called the Digital Missionary Conference. It has been bonkers here this week, working on details, lining up breakouts, talking to all the sponsors. Literally, people just keep coming in wanting to be a part of what's going on. I still have people trying to speak. at the conference and i'm like no no no i already have my speakers lined up bro i don't have any more room uh let's talk about you for the spring but uh man it's people are very excited about what's happening uh digital missionary conference last time we had 1100 people day up from 85 countries and we're excited to be offered four different summits this round one on on digital neighborhoods culture and digital platforms digital planting digital discipleship one on christ-centered recovery and digital spaces one on uh what's happening in europe european digital missionary summit and one on gaming and metaverse digital missionary summit more information is all at www.missionary.digital and so hey let's let's just call that for announcements i mean this is episode 350 i don't want to be in announcement mode all day i am excited uh to bring these guys on the screen so let me go and hit the magic button and and introduce to you uh some of the holy aces uh but hey guys welcome to welcome to the church digital podcast we're gonna pretend like i actually know what i'm doing and haven't done uh that big of an idiot i've been running ecamm for well over a year and that's the first time i've loved all over myself so hey thanks for doing this dark void and then we've also got huku and uh um aero uh where we got aerospace bricks We've got Bricks on as well. We've got Journey Rocker coming along in a little bit. But hey, guys, right up front, why don't you say hey to the crowd?

SPEAKER_01: What is going on, Jeff? It is amazing to be here.

Jeff Reed: Yeah, I'm so glad to have a conversation here. I met Dark Void online, man, maybe close to a year ago, earlier in the school year. And just so excited to actually talk to you guys in VR chat a little bit and learn. uh more about what the holy aces is and uh and i want to give a call out if you're watching on youtube by the way if you're listening to the audio podcast why like this is going to be so much better in video swing over to the church.digital youtube and uh i'm sorry youtube.com the church digital and uh come check out see the video to be able to see this this invest uh well experience But we've got the retro Church Digital logo in the background behind them. I saw that. It made me smile. Barbara is cringing somewhere right now. But love, love the retro look right there with that, my friends. Thank you. Thank you for that. But I tell you what, Dark Void, you guys are fine, man. Whatever. um honestly i'm just glad there's not some like uh monkey clown thing jumping around in the background like this is this is the best behaves i've ever seen anybody in vr chat right now so like kudos to you guys uh but dark void let's let's open up with you here uh man tell us a little bit uh about yourself well um

SPEAKER_01: I'm 15. A lot of you already heard I'm really young doing this. And I've just I've got a love for aviation, a love of Christ. I wanted to figure out a way how I can blend those together and form a way for people to really experience of what Christ is capable of and what he can do in your life. And through that, we have everything that we've built. So when we perform these air show for these churches, it's a look at what Christ can do. You know, look at what look at the power he has if you put him at the center of something. And so that is really the goal I want to shoot for when doing these air shows alongside. I also do this if you are unable to attend an air show in the real world, whether that's financially, physically, mentally, financially. I said that already. It's just it's an amazing way you can you can really get a grasp of what this is like in the real world and how amazing it is and how amazing it can be if you put Christ at the center of it.

Jeff Reed: Yeah, there's a lot right there, and we're going to get plenty of time to dig into it. But let's just talk about the purple cow in the room. You're 15. I am. And so you started a virtual reality ministry at age 15. Tell me about some of your team. Maybe introduce in a little detail the two gentlemen in here and maybe talk about some of the others that are on your team.

SPEAKER_01: Okay. I'll start with my number six opposing soloist here, Hoku in the blue. He's phenomenal. He made the avatars. He is assistant media. He is phenomenal in flying. He has been a best friend of mine for a very long time. He's been doing this for a really long time. um just next to him is uh area space bricks he is my right wing men so in a formation you'll see him on my right wing he has been here since the beginning and he is a phenomenal pilot he is also our events coordinator so jeff if you want to plan an event this is your guy to go to

Jeff Reed: awesome and so you guys i'm seeing the avatars in virtual reality i'm seeing the you know it looks like some sort of a stage kind of view uh in this in this vr chat world i'm seeing the helicopter i'm seeing the uh the jet so you guys do uh virtual reality air shows in in like in vr chat um yes like what is

SPEAKER_01: describe that for me like what what is that what does that experience look like feel like what are somebody seeing when they see that well we took a very big hit on um being able to do such formations christ inspired you know we could do crosses in the sky with new cross formations and just a whole bunch of just you know exhilarating just performances that churches can come and see honestly

Jeff Reed: Very interesting. Yeah, I've got that, Keegan. Thanks for the feedback. We're doing some adjusting audio and video on the fly. And we had some technical difficulties at the beginning. Keegan, any more feedback you can give is great. Man, so you took a hit. So VRChat is... you know i would consider this uh forgive me the red light district of virtual reality it's in many ways it's it's the cesspool in my book i i actually we i i interviewed a woman who was raped in vr chat and and just there there's a lot of um what's his name uh dj soto calls it the the red light district of virtual reality um talk to me a little bit about Why VRChat and maybe what some of the audience experiences or what some of the feedback has been surrounding a Christian air show in VRChat?

SPEAKER_01: VRChat is definitely and unfortunately a very... How do I say this? A very not bring your kid here kind of game. I've seen it's definitely a game that you can do more than you should be able to and the fact that it's 13 plus definitely scares me. I've seen a lot of crazy things on here. In terms of being a Christian community on VRChat, it's been very hard to find people outside of the Christian community and church community that genuinely respect us. VRChat and Christianity from what I've seen does not mix very well. Um, and I think that is very, um, that's very sad. And, you know, I think that Christianity should, you know, dwell in here.

Jeff Reed: Yeah. Now, so you, you chose, well, first off, like you're 15 year old, uh, you chose VR chat as, as the platform. Right. And so why, why vr chat as opposed to i don't know rec room you know i know alt space vr is not around anymore um you know some some of the other spatial like there's other platforms maybe they don't have the technical expertise but but i mean you're a kid in a in a world where you know like do you ever man i got to be careful even in this space myself how do you how do you manage that

SPEAKER_01: you just look at it and look past it honestly i tend not to i tend not to pay attention to that too much um in terms of why not other spaces um if it wasn't for vr chat i wouldn't be here right now my first church i found digitally wasn't vr chat um i think that is what really uh pushed me into doing all this so if it wasn't for vr chat if i never pressed that install button on vr chat i wouldn't i probably wouldn't be here right now yeah what what church was that in vr chat do you mind me asking or yeah your first church i would have victory led by pastor lou and pastor david okay very very cool um all right so hey uh you so you're leading

Jeff Reed: I mean, you've got a couple guys on the screen here. There's some others that are going to be joining us hopefully here in a little bit. How many volunteers, how many people are involved directly in the ministry helping Holy Aces happen?

SPEAKER_01: we have about 17 or 18 members that comprises both pilots uh prayer study uh group leader bible study leader um moderators you know all these people just looking forward and helping spread the word of god you know in a unique way such as we have done here that that's i mean that's that's surprising so as a as a high as a 15 year old in in america what is that a 10th grader

Jeff Reed: You're starting 10th grade this year? I am. Okay. So as a 10th grader, you've recruited and developed 18 people to be part of this ministry. Are they all kids?

SPEAKER_01: Most of them are adults. I think about three of them are minors.

Jeff Reed: wow so um you you guys i'm getting i'm getting a heads up on the on the vr um so you've got a you you're working with adults that that's incredible um where do you find these people

SPEAKER_01: Churches, honestly. I found a lot of these people from other Christian communities, except for this guy to my left. I found him in another aviation community called the Black Aces. Interesting. They are also a formation demo team, and I found him there, and I recruited him. He seemed really interested, and he's been here. Is that aerospace? Yes, that is me.

Jeff Reed: All right, so aerospace, man, tell me your story. So you're with Black Aces. How did you end up here with Holy Aces?

SPEAKER_05: Well, I mean, it's been an interesting path because I've always wanted to do formation flying as a kid, seeing the Blue Angels fly and seeing the videos of the Thunderbirds. It was incredible. And knowing that was my passion and passion I thought the easiest way of doing that with the right people is VR track because anybody can buy a headset, get the free game and download it and you're here. Just no extra cost necessary. And I mean, I originally flew with some teams. I think one's called Precce Trekkolori. I know that's the Italian team. Sometimes didn't match up, but I really wanted to do formation flying in some way. if it was Christian or not. I just wanted to do formation flying because I just loved seeing that and wanted to be a part of that. And it just never worked out. But I believe God put a path in me where it was just that one night, I was like, you know what? I want to go fly around and see how it is. And I flew around in the Black Aces world just to see the different planes. And all of a sudden, Dark Floyd appeared towards the end when I was about to hop off. And he saw I was flying, and he was asking around people be a part of the team called the holy aces and i said you know what i really want to do it i want to commit to a formation flight team really want to show what i can do and especially being a christian myself going to churches in real life i mean i don't i don't go to the vr ministry here in vr chat i do go to church i have a local church nearby but um But yeah, when he told me about the Holy Aces and especially being a Christian team, I hopped on it and I've stuck with it ever since. It's been tough, but I mean, what isn't?

Jeff Reed: Yeah.

SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it's been great.

Jeff Reed: How long at Dark Void, just in general, how long have you guys been doing this?

SPEAKER_01: I started the Holy Aces about this time last year, somewhere in early summer. i started doing the holy aces somewhere in the early summer um and i really kicked off the team somewhere around there early july

Jeff Reed: Okay. So it's been about a year, almost, give or take?

SPEAKER_01: Almost, give or take a year, yeah.

Jeff Reed: Wow, okay. And then we also got Hoku on the screen as well in the blue. Hoku, what's your story, man? By the way, your arm looks like it's broken. You feeling okay? No, I'm kidding. Yeah, it's all right. I just have my controller sat down. Okay.

SPEAKER_02: but all right um so really like um growing up i had like interest in like paper airplanes and i wanted to be a pilot when i grew up i wanted to like drive around um those propeller powered airplanes and like take people for rides and stuff as a little kid you know it was one of those little kid dreams and And so years down the road, kind of lost the interest and eventually got into VRChat. And I got into church ministries and I really started connecting with people. And I really got like that interest back of like wanting to be a pilot. So I would go around in like these worlds. I would have planes in it. I would just drive around by myself, weave between buildings. I just try to get good at it. And then I think one day I was just joining one of the church events. I don't remember what church it was. But Dark Void happened to be there. And I started talking to him. I don't know exactly how it went. But he asked me if I was interested in flying jets. And I was like, I don't know. It's like, I don't know if I want to be a part of like a team like that because I was just like very introverted. But I feel like the Lord had called me. It was just like, this is going to be great. You're going to be a part of something amazing. Go for it. And so... I joined him up and he started practicing me up and he really liked how I performed and he made me number six posing soloist. And I've just been continually developing my skill. And I drew, I truly do have like a huge passion for this. Like it's really awesome being up in the air, performing these things, just like really like introducing Christ in a way you wouldn't expect.

Jeff Reed: let's do this zuko welcome to the show um hey i tell you what zuko uh man why don't you let's put you on the spot since you just you know came in here tell us a little bit about yourself tell us a little bit about yourself in short because i've had a conversation with you before in short tell me a little bit about yourself

SPEAKER_03: Absolutely. Jeff, thank you so much for having me here. My name is Zuko. I am the co-owner here for the Holy Aces. It's such an honor and privilege to be here for the Church Digital and be a part of such an incredible aviation team here on VR. uh i met dark void um you know uh a little bit over about a year now uh in an aviation instance and he was telling me a little bit about his vision for the team and i fell in love with the idea so much that you know i i found it in my heart that i wanted to do nothing more than to make this team a humongous success and i mean i never would have thought i'm sure he'd be the first to tell you i never thought that we'd be in our own brand new instance with our own customized jets all of our church supporters and followers and having you as a big support, Jeff. It's a blessing to have you.

Jeff Reed: Here's what I want to know. This is the question I was asking. Like, okay, so, you know, Dark Void's a 10th grader. He's like at whatever high school, nine to five. What do you guys actually do like for a living? The rest of you on the screen. Yeah, so, you know, let's start with Bricks. What do you do, man?

SPEAKER_05: Well, I mean, I probably, not to brag, but I probably may have the most interesting job and probably the most prevalent job that you see behind these things. I am a C-130 structural engineer. I actually help keep those C-130s that you see flying and out in the world up in the air. We make sure that they're safe and we make sure that our... our army and whoever needs a C-130 is there and ready to go and is safe to fly. So that's what I do.

Jeff Reed: Wow. So like you, you actually work in the aviation field for, for the, for the military, for the, for the, who, who makes the C-130s? Forgive me. Is that Boeing or is that?

SPEAKER_05: The people that make C-130s is Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin. It's an interesting thing. I mean, we recently, back in August, we had our 70th anniversary of the C-130 flying. Interesting. I mean, first flight of the C-130 was back in 1954. Wow. So this baby has been flying and is capable.

Jeff Reed: That's very cool. I've got my brother-in-law works for Lockheed. One of my close friends works for Lockheed in different cities. And so welcome. Congratulations. Thank you for the work that you're doing for the country. Hoku, you're probably not going to be able to top the C-130 engineer over here. So what's your story? What do you do nine to five?

SPEAKER_02: Well, currently I am in the process of looking for a job still after three years. No, it seems like I, oh my goodness, technical difficulties, my apologies. My nine to five is really mostly at home. I do a lot of our background technical things for the team mostly. I really just do what I can. um most of the time i like working on avatars i'm a huge avatar developer um not like huge but like i'm huge on it yeah i love making it do you do i mean do you do world building like did you how much of what i'm seeing on the screen right now did you do No, I did not make the world. One of our other pilots actually have done that. I've just made our avatars here.

Jeff Reed: Interesting. Very cool. I mean, listen, building, what tools do you use? What tool sets do you use to create your avatars? I use Unity. So you're learning Unity. That's not a small skill set, bro. That takes a lot of effort and talent to learn. How long have you been working in Unity?

SPEAKER_02: a little over a year okay i think i started around this time actually uh yeah a little after i joined the team i started working on avatars and i've been at it non-stop i have probably a thousand to a thousand five hundred hours in unity wow but uh yeah i'm uh doing that um i've been trying to do some freelancing uh for like photography, art. I took a course at a trade school for a year and it's called multimedia. And there you do, you work with Photoshop, you work with cameras, editing, broadcasting, journalism, all that stuff. And I really want to work in the entertainment industry. I really think that would be an amazing thing.

Jeff Reed: Well, I mean, Unity in itself is an awesome step towards that, man. Even if you're looking at combining some of the AVL that you're describing with... with game dev like you can do within Unity. Man, that's a unique skill set. Don't sell short what you're already doing. That sounds very, very interesting for you, man. Yeah. Hang in there.

SPEAKER_02: Listen, I have a slow start, but I'm getting there. Hopefully, like this is the career path I want. I want to I want to work in entertainment.

Jeff Reed: I love that. The there is there's a lot of opportunities in that. Don't don't be discouraged. I mean, I'll even tell you at a personal level. um you know i know what it's like to be in between gigs for uh uh for a short and a long period of time as as well so um you know don't don't lose faith and and keep working hard while you're on that path um and and uh journey rocker what do you do man what's what's your nine to five zuku

SPEAKER_03: Oh, my God. I have a lot of traits. From being a full-time musician as a drummer, I play for a lot of cover bands here that are in New York and the tri-state area. I've been doing that for so many years of my life now. I'm also a DJ. I have my own DJ company that I run as a karaoke DJ, so that's a lot of fun. uh i'm actually a game show host in irela as well as on vr chat uh which is great uh and i also work in a restaurant uh which is absolutely you know just a joy i love the people that i work with and uh you know on the side uh in the summertime i get to actually take part in the uh jones beach air shows here on long island and get to participate and meet and network with a lot of the aviation teams, which is part of the reason why we have a Blue Angels tribute here, which I'll get into that much later on. I'm sure that will be something that will be brought up, but I don't want to get too much into that. But working at the airport's a lot of fun and getting a chance to meet the actual aviation teams, it's great. And when you get to be a pilot on here, it's even better.

Jeff Reed: Beautiful. What is the training like? I tell you what, you know what I want to do here, Dark Void, if it's okay, I'd love to watch one round of the first video clip I have, the first video clip I have for you guys, where it's not the Blue Angels one, it's the other one. Is it okay if I show that right now on the screen?

SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that is perfectly fine.

Jeff Reed: okay great so here i'm gonna push a couple magic buttons and um let's uh let's go ahead and uh watch uh this first clip and let me see i'm not sure that can be heard right now i can probably fix that

SPEAKER_04: I was born in the South. Sometimes I have a big mouth when I see something that I don't like. I gotta say it. We've been driving this road for a mighty long time. Paying no mind to the signs. Well, this neighborhood's changed. It's all been rearranged. We left that team somewhere behind.

Jeff Reed: All right, let me ask. Hopefully, can you guys hear me okay right now? Did I turn the music down enough for you? It's all good. Yeah. All right. Great. What is like what's actually happening right now? I'm seeing four jets in the sky. What is this? What are you doing on your side? Who's flying? Is anybody flying in this? And what does that actually look like?

SPEAKER_01: The ones you are seeing flying right now is me and Aerospace. Those are the only two that are here right now that you can actually see in the air. So I am the one leading that formation that is called the Diamond Formation. It is the signature formation of many, many, many flight demonstrations here in VRJ and in the real world. I am the one leading that formation. You can see me in the very front. Aerospace is on my right wing. So you can see him on the right side of the formation. He is on my right wing. He's a very good pilot. And right now we're doing the double farvel. We're coming in from the right. Me and the number four position slot pilot are both inverted. And we're passing by center point. And we are going to break.

SPEAKER_05: So... The slot pilot is Tony Maloney, and our left wing is Thalom Hill. So those are the two pilots. They're amazing as well. Yep.

Jeff Reed: Yeah. How does one discover they have the skill to fly a virtual reality plane this way? Like, are you guys, like, experts at Microsoft Flight Simulator or, like, Nintendo 64? How did you get to this point?

SPEAKER_03: The N64, that's way out of some of our final speed.

Jeff Reed: Well, I'll be with you. Sorry, N64 is my speed. Help me here.

UNKNOWN: Thank you.

SPEAKER_05: Well, I mean, on my side, it's always just been a passion for aviation. Anybody that you see on the video, anybody can do it. The control schemes on VRChat are fairly simplistic compared to, obviously, a real F-18, but it's just dedication. It's dedication. That's all it is. It's repetition, flying in these formations, knowing what's happening next to where you can just close your eyes, feel the air. Obviously, this is VR, so you can't feel the air, but just... Having that dedication. I mean, this is awesome right here at Nebula. You want to take over and tell them what this is?

SPEAKER_01: This is the Diamond 360. This is our closest formation you see as we're passing the crowd. That is 18 real-life inches of separation between the four aircraft.

Jeff Reed: So if you actually collided, we would see a crash or something like that? You would see...

SPEAKER_01: If pixels touched? Yes, you wouldn't see an explosion. We have it set differently. One of us would just fall drastically out of formation. Gotcha. That's what would happen.

Jeff Reed: Okay. Yeah. Interesting.

SPEAKER_05: Well, obviously, with VRChat, with the latency and everything, on different internet speeds, it's a little bit more tricky, but also it's more fun. It's more of a challenge. Yeah. where you're like, okay, boss may fall back from my side or somewhere. You just got to hold your position and know where you are going and confident in it.

Jeff Reed: All right. So you said you had six pilots, right? And so we've got the four of you on here. I know I met one of them the other day who was like a Harvard student, like a master's at Harvard or something. Who else are the pilots that you currently have?

SPEAKER_01: So, I am the boss, call sign Nambioli. Like I said, I'm the one in the front. This is my right wing. Thou Emule, who is not here, is my left wing. Tony Maloney, who is my slot pilot, who is under the formation, is not here. This is Six, the other soloist that you have not met. this is the other this this ends the one two three four five six of the pilots you're talking to him and this is the narrator zuko actually does the narration he does all the all the techie stuff with the narration which i don't know how to do

SPEAKER_03: So, and I also fly media, so we'll actually have somebody in the back of my jet, which is a two-seater, and we will fly along the side of the formation, and we'll get media shots, photos, videos from up in the air. And, you know, we fly along the right side of the diamond formation, which, you know, if you were to see right now, we'd be literally flying a good distance away, but flying along the right side of that formation.

Jeff Reed: Very, very cool. And it's taken this core team of pilots. How long have you all been? Yeah, I'm seeing that that break. How long have you all been flying together?

SPEAKER_01: about the same time this team has existed a lot of mo actually all of these people you see in front of us in front of you have been here since day one so about a year uh in in total we've been flying together i've been flying in vr chat for about three years

Jeff Reed: Okay. Did any of you have previous experience? Well, one of you was with Black Aces, as I recall. Was there any other experience with...

SPEAKER_01: I was a part of the VRChat recreational Blue Angels. So that is just a Blue Angel version in VRChat. You just do the same maneuvers. Zuko was a part of the same team. Hoku, this is his first ever flight demonstration team he's been on.

SPEAKER_02: Wow, okay. I probably have the least experience out of all of us, but I picked up quickly, I think. Sure. You certainly have.

Jeff Reed: Absolutely. And let me ask, let me do something here, sorry, but Bricks, do you have actual flight experience with your team? Oh, my gosh, I'm way out of the frame here. Sorry, I'm trying to figure out where I'm supposed to look. Bricks, do you actually have experience flying with your team? flying in real life? Or are you just like a servicing engineering beyond?

SPEAKER_05: Currently, I'm just an engineer. I just write the procedures of how to fix the C-130s. Personally, I've never flown a real aircraft. Obviously, I've flown in VRChat, VTOL VR, Microsoft Flight Simulator. I've always had that passion of flying, but I don't have the time or the money to do that. But I have gone to an amazing aviation school when I got my bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering. And that was down in Florida at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Sure. To all my eagles out there, if anyone's listening. But yeah, I love that school and seeing those Cessnas, those Diamond Skyhawks, and even the Thunderbirds. Thunderbirds coming down for the Daytona 500. I mean, just seeing them all the time and having that flight, just seeing it was amazing. But personally, I've never flown once. I've never flown, been in an airplane before, but I've never taken over the controls. But I'll happily take over the controls if they need me to.

Jeff Reed: Yeah. I've got friends that have gone through Emory. Do you, Emory Riddle, are you based out of Florida in the Orlando area? Do you work out of Orlando?

SPEAKER_05: No, not right now. I'm based in Georgia. Okay.

Jeff Reed: You said Daytona with such flair. I'm like, he may be in Central Florida out of the location there. Anyway, sorry, it's fine.

SPEAKER_05: Well, I mean, it's a personal goal of mine to go back to Florida. I mean, another passion is obviously flight, but more importantly, I enjoy space. I love Falcon 9, SpaceX, Blue Origin, all those companies. Awesome. I love that, yeah.

Jeff Reed: very cool so next up would be uh a vr chat uh space exploration launch rockets into outer space and no man it's like i don't know that may be a great idea or a horrible idea i don't know oh man this is this is just um it's it's it's beautiful that such a abstract idea um like uh in a in air show turns into into ministry and and i want to get into some of the ministry implications but i do know that um you know there there's an interesting relationship here with uh with the blue angels and like there's been some some some tribute work or some things that that you've done and so um journey rocker are you the the best one to speak into that

SPEAKER_03: yeah so um i'm gonna be very very brief as i can um so my journey with the blue angels goes back to when my grandfather was affiliated the u.s navy and when i was really really young that was the first air show my grandfather ever took me to and i fell in such love with the blue angels just you know the way that they fly and they're so coordinated they're so close their maneuvers are just so incredible that i really fell in love with it my grandfather you know begged me he's like you know i want you somehow if you can to get involved in the navy or get involved with the blue angels or aviation in some way um you know later on in my life i unfortunately sustained a very very serious injury to my left shoulder uh where i have a little bit of paralysis that goes into my hand uh so that you know you know prohibits me from being able to do certain things uh and you know certain motory functions with it uh so being able to fly in real life was out of the question um but like you know i wanted to carry on my grandfather's legacy when he had passed away in 2020. um so i came on to vr chat at one point i was just messing around in an aviation instance and i discovered and came across a blue angels instance and i was like wow like this is so cool it looks so realistic you know i could actually sit in the back of a blue angels shed and be a blue angels pilot this is amazing i wonder if the actual Blue Angels team knows about this. You know, I wonder if they really know about it. And there was at that time a Blue Angels team and they were a bunch of like adults that were on there at the time. And I met one of the pilots and I don't remember his name. I believe his first name was Jonathan, but, you know, getting off topic. But I met him and we started talking uh, about it. And he said, yeah, the blue angels really don't know too much about it. You know, they're the, they're the U S Navy. You know, I really don't think they would have any interest in a VR game. And I said, well, I think you're wrong. I said, I really think that they should know about this. Um, so I ended up later on as what he was saying, joining a blue angels team on VR chat, the same team that void was a part of, uh, like a blue angels trippy thing where we portrayed them, uh, uh, you know, and did all their maneuvers. And, um, I actually took what we were doing, this idea, what you see on VR, and brought it over to Long Island Republic Airport, which is where the Blue Angels do their show here on Long Island. And I met with the executive director of the airport, her name is Judith Zalewski, and the president of the airport, Tony. and brought the idea, I was like, you know, I really want the Blue Angels to see what we're doing. I think it's a special thing that we're doing and we could put people, you know, via VR into the cockpits of Blue Angels jets and teach them about the formation. And they fell in love with the idea. I have a friend of mine. His name is Chris Fonte. He works for Customer XR and Pioneer VR Gaming, in which he takes what we do on VR and he brings it to an actual event. He has a whole virtual reality setup where people can actually sit down in the back of these jets that you see behind us, actually watching a live air show from a massive screen. And we did that in the airport for the Blue Angels. We actually were able to do and work with the Blue Angels Airshow just last year. I got to meet Commander Armitas of the Blue Angels at the time, Jack Kitely, Amanda Lee, the first female pilot to ever fly with the Blue Angels. She made history. So I got to be a part of that. And when I met Void, you know, through the Holy Aces, you know, I wanted to spread a little bit of what I encountered with that team, what I've learned onto this team. And I'm proud to announce that we will be working with the Blue Angels for this upcoming air show for 2026, commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence here on Long Island. It's an amazing opportunity, not just for myself, but for this entire team. Everybody here has been absolutely incredible, and I love Void's vision for what he's doing. for all the church groups that we work here, including for yours, Jeff. It's an amazing opportunity, what he's doing. And we've touched so many lives here on VRChat, and we're inspiring people that are aviation enthusiasts what it's like to actually be a pilot.

Jeff Reed: Very cool. All right. Hey, so I'm just going to show a quick clip of some of the Blue Angels. Do you guys want to narrate over this, or we want to crank the music for this clip? point i'll leave that to you crank it crank it all right let's let's let's crank it here y'all go

SPEAKER_04: I had a piece of home.

UNKNOWN: Bye. Bye.

Jeff Reed: That is really cool. I am very, very impressed by some of this stuff. I'm literally, I didn't stop the video, it was playing in the background, but the jets are flying upside down again. Actually, let me just show that real quick. That's a really cool part. Look, they're freaking flying upside down.

SPEAKER_01: um anyway so so interesting man how how often do you guys practice a week how long like how many hours per week to do the pilots directly so uh practice um i like to keep it i like to you know personal life might get in the way i like to be very loose on terms of practices we practice on a consistent schedule of monday wednesday and friday um So Monday and Wednesday are diamond practices. Diamond and soloist are two separate types of show, I guess. So the pilots one through four, that's considered the diamond formation. The four jets you saw grouped together, that's a diamond. And you're going to see two others that are doing a bunch of crazy loops and turns and high-speed passes. Those are your two soloists. So Monday, diamond practices. for about an hour. Tuesday solos practice, Wednesdays diamond practice, Thursday solos practice, and on Friday, we bring it all together and we practice as a team on Fridays.

Jeff Reed: Okay. Roughly, like how many hours? Two, 18? Like what's a rough hour count?

SPEAKER_01: We practice about two hours a day.

Jeff Reed: Wow. Have you guys ever actually been in the same space physically together? We have not. At least I haven't.

SPEAKER_03: I have. Me and one of our other pilots, Tony, actually. We're from Long Island and we've actually been several times together. And Tony is an incredible person. He's actually worked with me last year and helped out with Republic Airport. And he actually flew... in that demonstration which you just saw for the point is he flew the c-130 he flies the fat albert um okay you know c-130 in that video so when we did that air show uh at jones beach he actually demonstrated flying the actual c-130 wow man all of a sudden now i'm body conscious for the c-130 that's that's horrible

Jeff Reed: what a shame so like you guys arguably like for a year you you all been connected together uh via virtual reality and discord building relationships practicing to do this this whole thing together Now, you mentioned to me, you mentioned earlier that some of your volunteer teams are Bible studies. And, you know, I know Journey Rocker talked about being on doing this for churches and ministries. Like, what's the ministry implications of what we're seeing here? Y'all tell me a little bit about that.

SPEAKER_01: so i i must say the ministry here um it's it's fairly light from what you compared to see to other ministries in terms of bible studies and prayer meetings because you know we're mostly doing this but every once in a while we like to gather and you know talk about christ and have a prayer meeting and a bible study you know every once in a while but uh In terms of ministry, we're really focused on doing this, but I am currently working on setting up a consistent Bible study and a consistent prayer meeting that will definitely improve our ministry setting.

Jeff Reed: Beautiful. I know at one point you were doing performances for churches in virtual reality. Is that still a thing that you're doing and try to network with some of the churches in that space? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01: Yes. I'm currently planning a air show on the end of August with VR Church by Pastor Alina.

Jeff Reed: Sure. Pastor Alina, Pastor Coco. Coco's over on the gaming side with Final Fantasy. Anyway, cool. Do you know a date on that? Is there a date that you guys have planned yet?

SPEAKER_01: There is not a date. All I know is it's at the end of August, early September. It's somewhere in that general area.

Jeff Reed: Yeah, we would love to get the word out on that. So let us know when that is. We love our friends over at VR Church. And so that, yeah, it's a general rule. Like when you talk with some of the pastors in virtual reality, are they supportive? Are they excited? Like what's some of the response on the VR side?

SPEAKER_01: Uh, is there an all of above option?

SPEAKER_04: Yeah.

SPEAKER_01: I must say for VR chat, um, the pastors are very, very, very supportive. I, I am so grateful that I met such a community that would be as supportive as they are. And, um, not only the pastors, the people, the people that go to these communities, you know, these, these services, um, I couldn't ask for a better community. They're family to me. These guys are family. Church is family. Everybody's family. I have got to say I've made some of the greatest memories alongside the church community here in VRChat and in the digital space. You're yourself, Jeff.

Jeff Reed: Awesome. I love that. I appreciate that. When you like I know how many of you are involved in physical churches? I know a couple of you mentioned that. What is so I'm curious just for giggles. What's the response with like your your pastor or your church leaders? when you were like, yeah, I do this virtual reality thing. It's a Christian ministry and we help churches in virtual reality. What's the response to something like that from a physical life pastor?

SPEAKER_01: I haven't told mine yet.

SPEAKER_05: I really haven't talked to my pastor.

Jeff Reed: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Stop. Stop for one second. I do want to come back to you. I apologize. Dark Void, you've been leading this thing for like over a year. You haven't told your direct leadership yet?

SPEAKER_01: No, they're going to be like, they're going to, they're going to be like asking so many questions that I want to avoid. Um, I, I have not told my pastor yet. No, they do not. I want to wait until we get bigger. And then one day, one Sunday we can be like, um, you know, the pastor's up on, up on the, the, the stage and like, here comes the big screen. It's just this, and there's an air show going on surprise air show. So I've not told my pastor yet. Um,

Jeff Reed: yeah i want to challenge you sooner than later my friend um i i think you need to tell them i i think they would be surprisingly proud of you because you're a 15 year old doing that they may not understand it but my hope is that they would um support you by asking a ton of questions and then not understanding anything you would say after that but um i i cut i cut someone off who There was a story before. I apologize for cutting you off. Somebody please go ahead.

SPEAKER_05: That's all right, Jeff. It's perfectly fine. But I personally am not told my past year about this endeavor because usually when you tell people about VR stuff, when you're a part of it, you get that idea of just like, oh, this is what you do or this is not actually real life. This is not reaching out to people or physically actually talking to people. I've told a few friends, but they're a little leery of just like, sure, would this thing last? Will this thing not? But I usually keep it to myself. But overall, I think this would be a good idea because I've never seen the VRChat aviation or VRChat community, Christian community, seeing this presence here on VRChat is amazing and the people I've met. it's it's incredible and definitely i thought this was like a one-off thing no this is certainly not a one-off thing ministry you can go to africa and minister to people or go somewhere and minister to people but most importantly i think being here on vr chat because there's a lot of people in here that go to these red light districts or whatever just to get that fun but knowing that These Christians are here and willing to go to these spots and minister in unique ways, like just doing these air shows. People can join and like, hey, I like the air show. And it's like, hey, let's go minister and talk about Jesus Christ and what he's done for you. It's impressive of what Void has done and sticking with him with what this is. means, it's very important. It's really unique. Honestly, when have you ever seen a Christian aviation team so dedicated to Christ, so dedicated to everyone and actually respects one another? Because usually when you fly these jets, you get an ego. You're like, I'm better than everybody else, but not here. Everyone understands their position and they want to learn. Also, my headset crashed, so that's why I'm very stiff on the screen. So I'm just keeping the headset on so I do not disappear on your screen.

Jeff Reed: That's funny. Dark Void is so funny right now.

SPEAKER_05: It could be my arms and just... Oh my gosh...

Jeff Reed: I was kind of wondering what was going on... knowing the headset crashed made it even worse... I'm mad now... I'm mad...

SPEAKER_05: I could rejoin but the instance is closed on this... No... no... this is so beautiful at this moment... it's good...

Jeff Reed: i i mean there's so much i love about what i'm seeing here like i'm i i'm not even going to be able to rattle off everything this is such an out of the box idea let's create a a virtual reality um Christian flight team to support churches in virtual reality. By the way, two, it's in VRChat, which is the dark space. And so you are rallying Christians on one of the darker spaces of virtual reality right now. Three, it's led by a 15-year-old high school kid Four who's managed to recruit 18 volunteers, the majority of which are adults. Like it's this is a and this is why it's like, you know, when Dark Void told me this when I met him a year or so ago, I'm like, yeah, whatever. You know, you know, just listen, I hear people tell me crazy stuff all the time. And to be to be honest, I like fact check them a little bit. I started digging around and asking, hey, do you know this guy, Dark Void? And they were like, yeah. And they started telling me the story. And so I'm like, crap, this guy's really doing this for real. I love it. It's incredible because it is so off the wall, out of the box, so necessary in that space to rally the troops that are doing ministry in VR chat. Yeah, the sad thing in all of this, and I'm putting on my physical church ministry hat, the sad thing is that you all don't feel like you're getting support from the church leaders because you've been burned previously, I'm assuming, or you've had conversations with people that are not supportive of this space.

SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, absolutely.

Jeff Reed: And so, like, for me, man, I want to, like, apologize for that. Like, you should be able to have those conversations with your church leaders and those that are spiritually guiding you and have confidence to be able to, you know, hey, like, this is what I'm doing. This is some of the fruit that we're seeing. You know, even if nothing else, if they don't get it,

SPEAKER_01: man listen i'll be praying for you um i want to go off of what you said and i wanna i wanna say a scripture and i think i think that'll that'll really wrap it around so i knew i knew once this team started kicking off i knew how bad vr chat was i knew we weren't going to be liked outside of the christian community i knew we were going to be attacked and i stuck by a scripture the world hates you just know that the world hated me first yeah i stuck by that scripture and i got through all the pain all the suffering all the tears and i i kept i kept going and i pushed i pushed i pushed i pushed and i pushed and i knew i knew i was going to get something at the end of at the end of the tunnel and uh

Jeff Reed: i gotta say with the amount of you guys that have been here to support me support what i've built i thank you there's there's nothing i can say more nothing i can do more i man i was your age uh to be honest i was in dark void this is gonna be honest to god truth i was actually probably a little younger than you um when i i can say i first had my calling to be a digital pastor It was a summer, it was 1992. I was 12 years old, maybe 14 years old at that point as a middle school student. And maybe seventh or eighth grade. And I cannot tell you. The number of people in spiritual leadership over in my life, over spiritual leadership in my life, pastors, friends, people who told me, hey, Jeff, it doesn't work that way. You can't be a pastor. with computers. You can't be a pastor. I mean, this was so early, like the internet was theoretical. It was like military only. It wasn't even like released. AOL was like beta in the early 90s. And so it's been... I was not showing even the spiritual maturity of what you just shared when I was your age. I was listening to those people instead of standing on scripture and saying, if they hate what I'm doing, well, they hated what God was doing, what Jesus was doing. The world hated Jesus too. And let me tell you, if you continue on in this space or even if it's outside, just life in general, as you stand as a Christian, the world will always hate you. Even as a Christian doing the stuff that I'm currently doing, there are Christians in the world who hate what I'm doing and have called out, you know, myself by name, my organization, the Church Digital by name, down, you know, in disgust centered around some of the stuff that we're doing with digital missionaries and digital ministry in virtual reality churches and the like. Some fun stories on that that I'll tell for a different day. But I am so proud of you for doing what you're doing. I'm so proud of this team for standing in a dark space, shedding light, and really gathering and rallying Christians who need to be shown some light in the dark space. And so, man, thanks for doing what you guys are doing. Do you guys have any, like, what are some... what's the next like five years three years look like do you have any like big events or or big rallying points what what's like going on in the future for for the holy aces here

SPEAKER_05: I think at this moment, we're taking it day by day, but I mean, things, we got a lot of things planned, a lot of things that are unplanned and especially getting our voices out to you and learning, especially to a podcast, because people want to hear more about this. And I know just in general showing aviation, aviation is cool in general, but having that package of, Hey, here's some aviation, cool aviation stuff, but here's the ministry as well. Like it's not, Jesus does so much, allows us to do so much, and gives us so many gifts that these are our gifts to the world. We want to show what we can do and also minister to these people. So, I mean, I guess that's my final word. Anybody else?

SPEAKER_03: Oh, man. I don't even know where to begin. I've been doing this on VRChat, the whole aviation and flying around and working with teams and doing the stuff on the outside with the real life aviation team is for quite some time now. And I have to admit, it's a lot of work. It's a lot of patience. And, you know, I think Boyd said it best, you know, that you have a lot of people there that really try to bring you down and it makes things extremely hard and difficult. And it creates obstacles and hurdles that we as a team all have to get over. And that's been such a hard part throughout this entire journey. But I'm so confident that what we have to share and what we can bring to people that really want to be aviation enthusiasts, want to be closer to God and, you know, soar to new heights and, you know. set great boundaries and goals for themselves. You know, I think, you know, this is going to be a great opportunity and who knows what the future holds for us. You know, this can lead to something bigger for the upcoming years. So, you know, like Matt said it best, you know, we take everything on a day by day basis. I mean, there was a point where we didn't even have our own instance to fly in. And you see what you see in front of you right now and all the work and support that we have from everybody that's within this team and all the work that we're all putting into this together. And look how incredible this is, what you're seeing in front of you.

Jeff Reed: Beautiful. So somebody's out there got a crazy idea. Maybe it is I want to do a Christian astronaut flight team. I want to do a virtual reality. I want to do a jet skiing thing where I jump a shark. I want to do, I don't know. But somebody's got some crazy idea.

SPEAKER_01: Jump the shark thing and jet ski would be pretty cool. Put Christ in the center of it. Whatever it is, put Christ in the center of it.

Jeff Reed: Hey, build on that for two minutes. Go.

SPEAKER_01: Uh, well, uh, okay. Um, I think that Christ is everything. I think you should make Christ everything. Why? Because Christ is everything. Um, here's a fine tooth example. You said it yourself, Jeff, a 15 year old, 15 year olds. Nowadays, I go around my school. I see them vaping. I see them drinking alcohol. I see them having unsafe sex. I tried to build something. I tried to do something and I'm still trying and I'm hoping I can do it. But I didn't do it. He didn't do it. He didn't do it. He didn't do it. Nobody did it. Christ did it. I think you put Christ at the center of something, it can become something magical. And take it from the 15-year-old who met Jesus on an operation table having heart surgery. You can do anything as long as Christ is in the center of it.

Jeff Reed: Well, dang it, bro. I'm trying to wrap up the show, and you just told me you found Christ when you were on an operating table having heart surgery. Maybe you should lead with that next time so we can have – we're going to have to have you back on because I want to hear that story. I didn't know that about you.

SPEAKER_05: Maybe a part two to the Holy Aces.

Jeff Reed: Wow.

SPEAKER_01: I can make it brief if you want. It's not a long story. Go for it. Let me hear it. So about two years ago, I was riding a bike with a few friends, and I noticed my heart started pounding really, really fast. And I felt weak. I felt like I was about to pass out, like I was about to have a cardiac arrest. They took me to the hospital, found out I had WPW, Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome. And what that is, is when you get... um energetic and your heart starts pumping and the blood starts flowing it gets into a rhythm where it can get upwards of 250 to 300 beats per minute and that is lethal yeah um i had to be taken into the operation room as soon as possible i had a quick ablation which is basically they burn off the nerve inside the heart so they made entry in the heart and they made and they burned um they put the gas mask on me and i just i heard this ringing just in my ear you got louder and louder and louder and louder and louder until i was just just overwhelmed like i like i was i was shedding tears on the operation table of just christ's presence and and during this time i was young i didn't really i knew of christ but i didn't really like know him but it's one of those feelings where like you know you know it's him and i just got overwhelmed with his love his comfort his presence his warmth and ever since ever since that day just right then and there there it was that's the birth of dark void wow ever since then uh i've been doing okay i'm alive it's not i have a better i have a better chance to be struck by lightning five times than it to come back so i'm okay I still got to get it checked every once in a while. I actually got to get an EKG here in a few weeks. But other than that, I'm alive. I am healthy. I can run. I can play basketball. I'm in peak physical condition. And I wanted to ask, since we're ending off the stream and we're wrapping it up, like you said, I was curious if I could really quick go up and just do a few maneuvers, like maybe three or four.

Jeff Reed: i was just curious or if you want to come see the chats no no no no no i i think that's that's great um you've got 10 more minutes as long as it's okay with the rest of your team and and give me a demo of whatever you want within that 10 minutes i will do that i will do that so hoku's going to take this time to readjust the camera and put it into the crowd perspective

SPEAKER_01: Okay, you may or may not get a little motion.

SPEAKER_02: I apologize, but I'm messing with the camera.

SPEAKER_03: And while Void's doing this, I'm going to do what my job usually is, and I'm going to go ahead and say, ladies and gentlemen, flying Holy Ace number one from Nashville, Tennessee, Commander Callsign Nebula, Dark Void!

SPEAKER_01: It's always so exciting, Zuko.

Jeff Reed: That was beautiful. It sounds like you've done it a couple times.

SPEAKER_02: Yeah. Okay. Let me do my settings real quick.

SPEAKER_01: Smooth. Let me know you're ready, Hoku. Affirm. So, Jeff, how would you like to stream?

Jeff Reed: I love it. Man, this went great. I'm telling you, I love the fact that you're a kid doing this crazy idea and you conned a bunch of adults into doing it with you. And they're responsive and serving together. And you're doing it in this... weird, crazy space where anything goes. And, you know, I love that you're a beacon for like the Christians in the space. Actually, I find it really ironic that like some of the other areas are anti what you're doing is like Christianity is what you're doing baked in. You know, it's

SPEAKER_05: man the metaverse is just so unique right now like it's it's so especially vr chat it's the wild wild west well jeff i mean while he's while nebula is flying in on the state on your audience right side maybe we could do a live stream of of inertia with you where you can

Jeff Reed: Yeah, I mean, I'd love that. We need to, um, I definitely, well, let me say it this way. I definitely would want to, we're, we're expanding, uh, I'll give a sneak peek as, as he's doing all this. This is great. Um, we're, we're, we're doing some unique things here with the show in the stream over the next year. And, uh, I think there is a great opportunity, uh, to feature some of the stuff that you're doing again, very soon. Um, And so normally in there is lots of sound effects. I know we're hearing it. We're just seeing video, not the audio of it for technical reasons. But I'm guessing it's all like, you know, engines blaring in actually in VR chat.

SPEAKER_05: A lot of engine noises. Yeah, no problem. It certainly is. It is very, very loud with those jets. You can barely hear yourself think and not alone just having four. I would certainly love to give you all a video of the entire six because we have a maneuver that is really unique to the Holy Aces.

SPEAKER_04: Yeah.

SPEAKER_05: Really, really unique. And I think everyone will enjoy it and it'll be awesome.

Jeff Reed: Very cool. I'll tell you, even in basic video games, I can't fly worth anything. Literally, if I'm playing PS5 and I got to fly something, I hand the controller to my son and I'm like, okay, you beat this level because I can't. I am on flight like... It was funny, you know, JourneyRockers, you know, mocking me because I mentioned N64. I think the last flying game I was actually good at was Star Fox 64. Anything since Star Fox 64, I am garbage on at the flying levels. Other things I can do okay, but nothing at flying.

SPEAKER_01: All right, Joe. What are you, like, flying to the Mars?

Jeff Reed: Where are you going?

SPEAKER_01: I'm zoomed all the way in. So I am currently gaining altitude to come back down even faster, and what you are going to see is a cone of air just enwrap my aircraft. I will try to catch it. Do your best. I'm going to be going very fast.

SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01: He will essentially be going super fast.

SPEAKER_02: I'm VR Chet's best cameraman. Not really.

SPEAKER_05: We got a lot, and we got plenty of ideas. I'm spitting balling right now, but maybe we can get you, Jeff. Well, you don't have a headset, right?

Jeff Reed: I do. I've got a Meta 3 Quest or whatever. I've got one. I was telling him I don't use it as much as I used to. But man, I would I would say let me jump into put it on. Let me jump into VR chat. Now, man, I'll do whatever I can do there and tie it in. But yeah, let's we can talk offline and figure it out.

SPEAKER_01: All right, Jeff, I'm going to do one more and I'm going to bring it in for a landing.

SPEAKER_03: Jeff, we could actually put you, I would love to take you on a backseat flight of number seven, where you actually could be in the back of my jet and we can actually show you what it's like to be up there with us. You get to see everything from a first person perspective.

Jeff Reed: That'd be fun. Yeah, I actually would love to do that next time.

SPEAKER_03: Absolutely. Love to have you.

SPEAKER_01: All right. One more, Jeff, and then I'm bringing it in.

SPEAKER_02: We're behind the jet here. Let me get up a little bit. Where'd he go? Let me try to...

Jeff Reed: There he is.

SPEAKER_03: Hey, I'm on a podcast right now. I have to call you right back.

Jeff Reed: The best part of this stream so far has been that Dark Void's mom or dad has not walked in the room asking to talk to him.

SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'm so thankful. You have no idea.

Jeff Reed: I was really hoping that was going to happen so I could mock you publicly for that. Listening to Journey Rocker is enough right now.

SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry about that. That was my family calling.

Jeff Reed: No worries, man. I'm just making fun.

SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah. Still slow pass. I'll try to get this.

Jeff Reed: Oh, yeah. Was he upside down on that? Or was he on the right side up?

SPEAKER_02: No, he was right side up. Right side up. Okay, yeah. But I almost unplugged my headset trying to go over my head like that.

SPEAKER_05: Well, Jeff, if you want to continue talking to us and potentially do a part two with the Holy Aces, I mean...

Jeff Reed: we're we're more than welcome to love the idea of continuing to talk to you yeah and and on my side i you know whatever and flat cap layton knows this as well he does he's doing a lot of work on the vr side um whatever we can do to to help you guys ministry um yes you know count us count us in for that i'm a i'm a big supporter and a big fan of holy aces which you all are all about and uh am happy to help however i can but yeah let's plan on doing something soon and uh yeah we'll uh we'll go from there probably do i get to see a landing here oh don't worry about the technical difficulties we'll edit that let me see a landing secretly i was hoping for a crash landing but a safe landing will work no is that bad does that make me a bad person that i that i want to see flames really want to i will do it no no no no don't do that don't do that oh we're about to see it

SPEAKER_02: You guys are about to see it. I'm having to twist and turn so bad right now.

Jeff Reed: Did he land and then take off, like, immediately before he head on off the taxi?

SPEAKER_03: Alright, so... So what he just did was a test and go. What happens when VRChat doesn't want to cooperate?

SPEAKER_01: I'm just getting up back in the air just to crash for Jeff. Just for him. I don't think you could crash those jets. Focus on the jets in front of you. Focus on the jets in front of you, Hoku.

SPEAKER_02: Like, just right here? Here I come. Yep. Oh, no.

SPEAKER_03: Oh, no.

SPEAKER_02: That was weird.

SPEAKER_05: Y'all had a pretty display.

SPEAKER_04: Well, now we're just... The other one was flying. Now we're just flying.

Jeff Reed: oh my goodness they almost landed perfectly on there and then void right here the best part of this thing was no explosion it was just a ricochet oh my goodness and no dark voids were killed in the making of this video oh my gosh all right well i'm blacking out after that that was that was very funny uh dark void uh hoku uh bricks uh journey rocker i'm probably mixing up call signs somewhere in there but you know i love you guys thank you so much for being a part of this thank you for what you're doing what you're doing for the kingdom and and hanging out with us tonight uh at least tonight for me but i gotta go and so for the video of this recording

SPEAKER_01: Can you do that?

Jeff Reed: Yeah, I'll send you the whole thing, and then we'll edit it off some of the things, and I'll put it on YouTube in the next couple days.

SPEAKER_01: Okay.

Jeff Reed: Yeah, I'll send it to you here in a little bit. But for Dark Void and the Holy Ace crowd, this is Jeff with The Church Digital. Thanks for hanging out with us today, and we'll see you next time on the show. Y'all have a good one.

SPEAKER_03: Take care. Bye.
