Scot Mendenhall is the lead pastor of Unlock Church in Champlin, Minnesota, a congregation he launched in 2015 with a vision for the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis. He is known for building authentic community on YouTube by creating content around personal hobbies—notably the Onewheel electric skateboard—as a relational bridge to reach unchurched audiences. In 2017 Unlock Church launched a podcast-style online service that has extended the church's reach globally.
