Ian Simkins serves as Lead Pastor of Teaching and Vision at The Bridge Church in Spring Hill, Tennessee (just outside Nashville). He grew up outside Detroit as the oldest of seven homeschooled children and studied Youth Ministry and Adolescent Studies at Judson University before earning his Master's from Emmanuel Christian Seminary. He is known for his emphasis on vulnerability, mental health, and authenticity in ministry, and has explored how digital platforms extend church community into unexpected places including prison ministry.
