Dr. Bekele Shanko, born and raised in Ethiopia, is President of the Global Alliance for Church Multiplication (GACX), a worldwide network of church-planting organizations he helped launch in 2011 with the vision of a healthy church for every 1,000 people. He also serves as a Global Vice President of Cru, leading its Global Church Movements division, after joining Campus Crusade for Christ in Ethiopia in 1993 and serving as National Director and Area Director for Southern and Eastern Africa. He is a recognized leader in global church multiplication and missions.
