Ali Roohi is the founding pastor of CenterSet Church (now Bold Church) in San Jose, California, a congregation he planted after a career as a software engineer in Silicon Valley. Born in the Bay Area to an Iranian immigrant family and raised Muslim, he came to faith in Jesus and felt called to plant a new church. He appeared on theChurch.digital podcast to discuss how his church emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic with deeper community engagement—online small groups tripling in size despite online service attendance dipping.
